It’s a Wrap – Wrap with Gratitude

The year-end is here; we are wrapping it up, but what is inside the wrap? Have we had a fruitful and fulfilling year?

As a Fruitfulness Ambassador, I sometimes encounter scepticism when bringing up fruitfulness and fulfillment in business. However, these are fundamentally business terms. At a high level, fruitfulness equates to productivity, while fulfillment equates to measure of efficiencies.

I would like to remind us that fruitfulness is not about perfection but excellence; it is about being productive and sustainable. No matter how hard the farmer tends the garden, there will be rotten fruits, sour fruits, etc. We cannot dictate the outcome, but we can direct the cause and the course toward the outcome. We must not penalize ourselves for what is out of our control; that is an injustice toward ourselves. I always keep this reminder with me: I am in charge, but God is in control.

Looking at my year-end and unwrapping my inventory, this year has been a year of growth and faith. I am so grateful for the impact we made for the businesses I worked with that entrusted me with their continuous improvement efforts. I am also grateful for the support I received from the partnerships, mentors, and service providers who shaped my new learnings and provided stability.

My highlight this year was being able to coach leaders and mentor their cross-functional continuous improvement teams through the SCORE programme. I highlight this programme because it is systems-driven and utilizes lateral thinking, creativity, and action learning, impacting all levels of the organisation.

It is amazing how one programme can deliver diverse results in such a short span of time. But with the organisations I worked with, we built on Commitment, Consistency, and Competence. Sustainability is not built in one day; let’s keep expanding the tent and keep growing!

To demonstrate the impact of this programme, I have pulled out the key successes from the organisations I worked with, as shown in the accompanying image. Some of their testimonials are available on the EALIGER YouTube Channel.
